Jispa valley is located at an elevation of 10500 feet (3200 meters), it is 20 Kms north of Keylong on the Manali – Leh highway on the banks of river Bhaga. If one is visiting Lahaul or travelling from Manali to Leh, Jispa is one of the best places to spend an overnight. The village is inhabited by just 78 households and hence makes it an ideal getaway for city folks.
For spending the night is Jispa there are a couple of hotels and tented accommodation available for tourists. There is not much to do for a tourist here except sit around the banks of river Bhaga of take some short hikes around the woods. Besides that there is a folk museum and a monastery that one can visit.
