Arrive Leh - day free to relax and acclimatize
On your arrival at Leh airport our representative will meet & greet and transfer you to the Hotel.
Welcome drink on arrival and check in to the hotel.
We recommend you completely relax for the rest of the day to enable your body to acclimatize to the rarefied air at the high altitude. Leh is situated at the height of 11563 feet.
Lunch and dinner is served at the hotel.

Leh to Alchi, Ule Ethnic Resort
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we start our drive to Alchi, 70 kms west of Leh. Enroute visit Likir monastery.
On your arrival check in at Ule Ethnic Resort. After lunch we take you for a visit to Alchi village and Monastery.
At night your campsite is one of the best places for stargazing.

Alchi to Leh
Breakfast at the campsite. After breakfast leave for Leh.
Enroute we visit the famous Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, the Magnetic Hill, Sangam and Hall of Fame.
At Sangam you can enjoy rafting on Indus river from Phey to Nimmo at an additional cost.
Hall of Fame is a must visit for every patriotic Indian. It has been built by Indian army in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in Kargil war. Return to Leh in the afternoon.
Gurdwara Patthar Sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from Leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to this region.
Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable.
The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskar river and Indus rivers merge.
On arrival in Leh check-in at the hotel.

Leh – visit Pangong Lake
Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake.
On the way to Pangong Lake we will cross Chang la which is the third highest motor-able road in the world (5486 meters). Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass.
Arrive Pangong and enjoy the landscape and back drop of the Lake. Pangong is famous for mirror calm blue brackish waters. The lake is 5-6 kms wide and over 144 kms in length, with half of it running on the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Lake is also a breeding ground for a variety of birds.
Lunch will be served at Pangong.
At around 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon we start our drive back to Leh.

Leh - Khardung La
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast drive to Khardung La which is 43 Kms from Leh. Today it is the unique opportunity to drive on the highest motor-able road in the world at 18380 feet.
The views from the top of the pass are amazing. This road carries on to the Nubra Valley.
Return to the hotel for hot lunch.
After lunch take a tour of Leh city visiting Sangkar, Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Time free till departure. Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Good to Know
- For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed. Children share parent’s room without an extra bed.
- We reserve the right to re-arrange the itinerary without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
- All Hotels and services are subject to availability & confirmation.
- Hotel check in is at 1400 hours and checkout is at 1200 hours.
- Early check in and late check out is subject to availability and consent of the hotel.
- The vehicles used is non air-conditioned and is available for point to point services only and is not at disposal. Vehicles used in Leh are Innova, Xylo, Mahindra Bolero or similar. We can only request for a specific vehicle and not guarantee it as vehicles are provided by transport union in Leh in a sequence.
- All Indian Nationals require Inner Line Permits to travel to Nubra valley, Pangong Lake & Tso Moriri Lake. Besides this permit all travelers need to pay Environment Fee and Red Cross Fund fee.
- All visitors to Leh must ensure that they are physically fit. People with asthma, heart and lung related problems must consult a physician before travelling.
- Acclimatization to the rarefied air, at a height of 11563 feet, is a must in Leh for all passengers. Therefore, we very strongly advise everyone to take it easy on the first day and do not undertake any hectic activity on first day.
- Some travelers are likely to experience some breathlessness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite. The Sonam Norbu Memorial Hospital in Leh has an extremely qualified team of dedicated doctors familiar in dealing with high altitude sickness and other medical problems.
- When traveling to Leh it is an absolute must to carry skin creams, lotions and chap sticks. One should also carry Sun Glasses, hats, Scarfs, thick cotton trousers / jeans for day use, woolen sweaters/ jackets, sports shoes, sandals with straps for rafting and evening wear and gloves.
